Nastassja is a qualified and experienced remedial massage therapist, with a passion for helping people to live their best lives. Completing her studies in Melbourne at the Australian College of Fitness and Bodywork, she is passionate about understanding your unique health profile and tailoring sessions to suit your individual preferences and goals.

Health is not simply the absence of pain or disease, but a state of complete well-being from which we can experience thriving and maximum enjoyment of life. With this in mind, Nastassja has a holistic approach to massage therapy. Harmonise Bodyworks treatments aim to provide symptom relief, prevent future injury and facilitate relaxation.  To resolve musculoskeletal issues at their root cause, treatments are planned with optimal posture in mind; addressing any underlying dysfunction with corrective exercise and lifestyle changes.

Nastassja works with a reverence for the innate wisdom of the human body and a fascination for the relationship between mind, body, and spirit. Her treatments interlace Remedial, Swedish, and Lomi Lomi techniques with mindfulness principles to facilitate optimal healing and alignment. Sessions are designed with careful consideration for the unique needs and preferences of each individual including any psychosocial factors. Her treatments are both solution-focused and aimed at facilitating a state of relaxation in which healing is optimised.

Nastassja’s approach to massage works with the natural intelligence of the body – Its capacity to heal and adapt is truly profound. Treatments are focused around embodiment, and holding a space in which your body can find the sense of calm and safety it needs to fully relax. From this place, healing is optimised and functional changes can occur with lasting effect.

Sometimes, our bodies hold tension in response to physical and/or emotional experiences as a way of armouring or protecting us.  With this in mind, treatments always combine lots of flowing and nurturing strokes with deep pressure where required; inviting, rather than forcing muscles to release tension.
